Downtime and Recovery
Anti-wrinkle injections are famous for being a "lunchtime procedure" due to the minimal recovery needed.
Immediate post treatment - mild redness small bumps at injection site (like mosquito bites) which fade very quickly.
Do not rub the area post treatment to prevent the product spreading into an untreated muscle.
First 24 hours - avoid strenuous exercise and excessive heat.
Long term - no true downtime you can return to most activities immediately.
Bruising if it occurs, which is typically minor.

Upper Face (The Traditional "Three Areas")
1. Forehead Lines: Treated by relaxing the Frontalis muscle. This addresses the horizontal lines that appear when you raise your eyebrows.
2. Frown Lines / "The 11s": Treated by relaxing the Procerus and Corrugator Supercilii muscles. This addresses the vertical lines between the eyebrows that appear when scowling or concentrating.
3. Crow's Feet / Smile Lines: Treated by relaxing the lateral (side) portion of the Orbicularis Oculi muscle. This addresses the lines that radiate from the corners of the eyes when you squint or smile.
Mid-Face & Nose
1. Bunny Lines / Nose Wrinkles: Treated by relaxing the Nasalis muscle. This addresses the lines that appear on the bridge or sides of the nose when you scrunch it.
2. Gummy Smile: Treated by relaxing the Levator Labii Superioris Alaeque Nasi (LLSAN) muscle (and sometimes the Levator Labii Superioris). This lowers the upper lip to cover excessive gum display when smiling.
3. Smoker's Lines / Vertical Lip Lines / Lip flip: Treated by relaxing the superficial, upper portion of the Orbicularis Oris muscle. This addresses the fine lines above the top lip that appear when puckering. You can also lift the lip if it is particularly thin resulting in a fuller lip but with very natural results. .

1. Downturned Mouth: Treated by relaxing the Depressor Anguli Oris (DAO) muscle. This softens the lines running from the corners of the mouth down and allows the mouth corners to lift.
2. Dimpled Chin / Cobblestone Chin: Treated by relaxing the Mentalis muscle. This smooths the lumpy or dimpled appearance of the chin.
3. Jaw Slimming / Bruxism: Treated by relaxing the large Masseter muscle. This is used to reduce the size of the jaw muscle (for a slimming effect) or to reduce the force of clenching (for teeth grinding/bruxism).
Neck
1. Neck Bands / Platysmal Bands: Treated by relaxing the Platysma muscle. This addresses the prominent, vertical cords that sometimes appear on the neck when the muscle contracts.
